令人不放心的脈絡叢囊腫

有時候科技太進步,不知是不是好事?


在為唇顎裂煩惱的同時,其實之前產檢曾照出腦部左右兩側都有脈絡叢囊腫(CPC),都不小,大約直徑近1cm.

翻查一下CPC.

Choroid plexus cysts (CPCs) are cysts that occur within choroid plexus of the brain. The brain contains pockets or spaces called ventricles with a spongy layer of cells and blood vessels called the choroid plexus. This is in the middle of the fetal brain. The choroid plexus has the important function of producing a fluid called cerebrospinal fluid. The fluid produced by the cells of the choroid plexus fills the ventricles and then flows around the brain and the spinal cord to provide a cushion of fluid around these structures.(source: Wiki Choroid plexus cyst)

所謂腦室脈絡叢，是一種軟腦膜摺疊形成的血管性邊縁垂突，突出在腦室內，負責製造生產腦脊髓液者，脈絡叢囊腫就是在脈絡叢上面長出像水瘤一樣的囊腫；正常的胎兒有時也可看到，有的也會自然消失，但臨床上怕和染色體異常Aneuploidy有關，進一步作羊膜穿刺術及追蹤檢查還是很重要的。

稍可安慰的是有一篇統計13690名孕婦中有84名胎兒(佔0.6%)超音波掃瞄有脈絡叢囊腫，此84 名胎兒中全無染色體異常Aneuploidy。

另一篇統計8270孕婦中有89名(佔1.1%)在18-20 週超音波掃瞄發現胎兒有脈絡叢囊腫.之後追蹤其出生後嬰兒及孩童期的發展發育都沒有任何異常現象。(摘自:http://www.drkao.com/1st_site/1_2/qa/qa-199.htm)
